I hope your summer is going well. The weather here has been nice- sunny and cheerful! My family has been on-the-go the past couple weeks. It has been a ton of fun, but it is nice to get back in the rhythm of everyday life. I love my town and the friends I have here. It’s the perfect combination: fun to get away and fun to be home. 🙂 I’m excited to share our trips with you in the next couple weeks, so be sure to check back in to see the travel posts!
One of the places we vacationed was Cape May, New Jersey. It is a cute town that is full of pastel colored houses and cute shops. We stay in North Cape May, on the Delaware Bay. It is quiet and peaceful, with minimal traffic. We seem to see more bikes than cars! We found a double bike at the rental house and tried it out. It was quite the adventure.

Sometime I would like to ride one of these boats. “I am Moana!” 😉
We love going to the crepe place, Chill, and a local bakery called “Little Store.” If you go to Cape May, you have to try the butter buns and sticky pecan rolls at The Little Shop. Their Dulce de Latte is also really good.
If you get the chance to visit Cape May, be sure to walk around the Washington Street shops, go to the The Original Fudge Kitchen, Cape May Peanut Butter Co, and Peace Pie. You will not regret these necessary stops.
A highlight of the trip was going parasailing over the Atlantic Ocean. We went with East Coast Water Sports, and we were very pleased with the service we received.
If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend visiting Cape May, NJ. It is a sweet town that my family and friends get a lot of enjoyment from.
