I have been trying to do a no-sugar week (Monday- Friday). In the past, I’ve told myself there is no way I could not eat sugar for a week. But, then I decided I would try it and see how it goes. I’ve heard going off sugar makes you feel amazing and that it is torture for a while, but then in the end, it tastes too sweet and you lose your craving for it. We’ll see if that is the case for me. Hopefully, these couple sugar-free days will set me up for a healthier lifestyle.
I made these really good sugar-free chocolate crunch bars that I found on Pinterest. I substituted millet for the crispy rice cereal. Yum!
It’s hard to see amazing desserts when you’re doing a no-sugar couple of days! 🙂
Today is the last day of my challenge, and I’m planning on reintroducing sugar to myself this weekend and next week. I’m interested to see if I go all-out and chow it down, or if I don’t have the same desire I used to for sugar. We will see!
